I don’t know about you, but I was once a huge fan of Paranormal books. I fantasised about a fallen angel swooping in, acting all mysterious, and bringing me into a world of angels, were-creatures and demons. Now, this was a fair few years ago, round about the time I read Twilight, which was the start of it all. When I’m picking out books now I never even glance towards the Paranormal section, Fantasy and Contemporary have taken a hold of my heart, although I have learned quite a bit from my Paranormal past!
This is not my first Taught Me post, my first was What Twilight Taught Me which you can read here, and was pretty popular! My other Taught Me posts are the Hunger Games and Dystopian, so go ahead and read them to see what else books have taught me! And feel free to comment and share what they’ve taught you too!

The Difference Between Us is the second book in Rachel Higginson’s Opposites Attract Series, the first book being The Opposite of You, which I highly recommend! I’m so excited to be revealing the cover for The Difference Between Us and to share with you the blurb for this book!
At least when it comes to finding Mr. Right.
I’m tired of men that only want one night stands or blind dates that are nothing but awkward and uncomfortable. I’m tired of avoiding inappropriate text messages and the constant disappointment of always meeting Mr. Wrong.
After all these years of dates that lead nowhere, I can admit that it’s me. I’m the problem. I’m shy and picky and cursed. Definitely cursed.
So I’ve decided two things.
The first? I’m giving up dating and relationships and men in general. Maybe, possibly, forever.
The second? I’m going to have to try harder to avoid Ezra Baptiste.
If I couldn’t hack it in the kiddy pool of dating, I certainly can’t swim in his deep end. He’s too successful. Too intense. He’s all man when I’m used to nothing but boys pretending to be grownups. He’s everything I’m afraid to want and so far out of my league we might as well be different species entirely.
So he’ll need to find a different artist to paint his mural. And a different graphic designer to help him with his website. He’ll need to find someone else to glare at and flirt with and kiss.
It can’t be me.
We’re too different.
This book sounds just as amazing as the first and I cannot wait for it to be released on July 25th!

Life recently has been really busy, I’ve been working on assignments and dissertation, and to top it off hunting for jobs, because my time at uni is nearly up. All of this has meant that I’ve had practically no time to read, and I’ve caught myself on more than one occasion longing to have a book in my hands. Being busy with all this work hasn’t stopped my book buying though! But this is probably just adding to my dilemma, because I know that I have so many wonderful books waiting for me to read. I’ve created a list of all the books I wish I could be reading right now, and as soon as I get some free time I will be diving into these books! Continue reading “What I Wish I Was Reading”
This week’s Wishlist Wednesday
post is spotlighting one book, I have a load of Pop’s and no real room for more, I have a lot of books that I need to read so I’m not buying anymore until I read a couple I already have, and there’s nothing I’m really after aside from more space for bookcases, but that’s something that I can magic myself. If you want to see my previous Wishlist Wednesday
posts then head over to the page
dedicated to them which has a rundown of my posts and a little explanation about Wishlist Wednesday

Title: The Unexpected Everything
Author: Morgan Matson
Release Date: May 3rd, 2016
Rating: 4.5 Stars
Andie has a plan. And she always sticks to her plan.
Future? A top-tier medical school.
Dad? Avoid him as much as possible (which isn’t that hard considering he’s a Congressman and he’s never around).
Friends? Palmer, Bri, and Toby – pretty much the most awesome people on the planet, who need’s anyone else?
Relationships? No one’s worth more than three weeks.
So it’s no surprise that Andie’s got her summer all planned out too.
Until a political scandal costs Andie her summer pre-med internship, and lands both she and Dad back in the sam house together for the first time in years. Suddenly she’s doing things that aren’t Andie at all – working as a dog walker, doing an epic scavenger hunt with her dad, and maybe, just maybe, letting the super cute Clark get closer than she expected. Palmer, Bri and Toby tell her to embrace all the chaos, but can she really let go of her control?
